What Is NxLeveL?

The NxLeveL Entrepreneurial Training Programs were developed for existing business entrepreneurs and persons looking to start their own business. The University of Colorado at Denver under a grant from the US WEST Foundation developed NxLeveL. The program and continues to be updated based on the feedback from entrepreneurs and NxLeveL TM graduates.

The course includes:

• Customized course curriculums to reflect local laws and business climates.
• Guest speakers bring to the course the reality of the current business community.
• Networking opportunities with business leaders and fellow participants.
• Textbook and resource guides are designed to help make entrepreneurial decisions.
• One on one counseling and support with class projects and business needs after graduation. This function is done by TBIC.

What Is The TBIC?

The Tribal Business Information Center (TBIC) is a business and economic development program developed with assistance from the US Small Business Administration and the Bureau of Indian Affairs and managed by individual tribes or tribal organizations. This program provides current and future small business owners assistance and advice using the latest computer technology, books, publications, video-tapes, and offers one-on-one consultation.

The NxLeveL Course is designed for present and potential business owners to focus on business issues, strategies and formal planning with a business startup emphasis.

Times: Classes are Monday and Thursday evenings 5:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Cost of the Course: The cost is $135.00 which includes registration, a textbook, workbook and a resource guide. A spouse or business partner may attend for no additional charge (workbooks and handouts will be shared). This course meets the entrepreneurship training requirements of the Business Equity Loan Fund. CEUs are available through Sitting Bull College. A $55.00 non-refundable fee will be charged if you decide to discontinue after the second session. Written notification must be provided to the instructor. No refunds after the third week.

Applicants for financing from the SRST Business Equity Loan Fund are eligible for scholarships that cover the entire registration cost including books.
