Celebrating Our Exceptional Students at the 2025 AIHEC & AIBL Student Honoring Event

We wanted to honor these outstanding students that participated in the 2025 AIHEC Student Conference and the REZ AIBL Competition. Students were able to relax, celebrate with a meal and were recognized for their amazing accomplishments. Their hard work, passion, and perseverance truly shone through, and we’re excited to share their well-earned victories:
 
-The SBC AIBL Chapter Team- Not only did they showcase incredible talent and leadership, but they also earned 2nd place in the Business Plan Competition - TCU Division! 
 
-Tanner Veo - Elected as the 2024-2025 AIHEC Student Congress President! We're excited to see where your leadership takes us.
 
-Kennedy Pleets - 1st Place in the Painting Division! Your artistic vision is unmatched, Kennedy—keep creating!
 
-Jacob Fast Horse - Runner-up at the AIHEC Poetry Slam, and his work will be published in a future issue of the Tribal College Journal. Your words are leaving a lasting impact.
 
-Derek Gates - Sitting Bull College Student of the Year! Your commitment to excellence is an inspiration to all of us.
 
We couldn’t be prouder of these incredible students, and we look forward to all the future successes you’ll continue to achieve.
